YOUTH program
Lower Manhattan Community Church Youth is comprised of both Middle School and High School Ministries. Its programs celebrate diversity, friendship, service and fun, growing “Generation Z” into young men and women of robust faith, character and conviction.
We are cultivating a reimagined youth community that students attend by choice, rather than out of familial or religious obligation. We desire that from an early age, kids would begin to see church as “home,” a place where they deeply belong and are ferociously loved.
LMCC Youth wants to create a space where every kid can feel safe and secure in who they are. Our heart is to walk alongside our students in authentic relationship, helping them to grow spiritually in the context of community as they navigate their own unique journey of faith.
Middle School
Our leadership is passionate about engaging in personal relationship with each of our students, not limiting church to solely a Sunday event. LMCC Youth Ministers can be regularly spotted attending neighborhood sports games, birthday parties, school plays, etc.
High School
Do you have High School students in your family? If so, we want to know them! LMCC Youth Ministry has a community of High Schoolers who believe life is best done together.
Our high school youth group is fun, welcoming and understands the full schedules of NYC students. We are passionate about helping our teens discover meaningful faith friendships that serve as sources of hope, joy and belonging throughout their high school years. These friendships are formed over shared meals, service opportunities and casual monthly outings, such as group movie nights, and pizza parties. So come join us, we promise you'll be pleasantly surprised that church can be so much fun!
